Passing DTMF commands from a voted receiver

Postby wb3awj » Sun Sep 16, 2012 9:16 pm

I working on adding a voted receiver using the XIPAR voting.
It votes just fine.

But.... where I'm getting confused is... If that receiver is selected, and a user sends a DTMF command.
How do I pass the DTMF command back to the main repeater?

I've been mucking about with propagate_dtmf, inxlat, outxlat, linktolink, and just not getting anywhere.
What am I missing?

Using say *86 (play weather alert status in our case) as an example.....
What do I need in rpt.conf to pass that as received on a remote (IP linked) voted receiver to the main repeater?
And have it execute it?

Quite simple actually... I remove all the commands from each remote receiver except for pl decode on and off and *4 from each remote receiver. Then when I connect a remote receiver from the repeater, I make sure the remote receiver can hear me, or do this from the command line, and issue a *4 xxxx from each remote receiver. xxxx= the repeater node number.
