Autopatch Using My Own Provider

Postby KC7WSU » Sun Feb 17, 2013 3:23 pm

I would like to setup an autopatch on my allstar node, but do not want to use the allstar provided provider.

Can Someone point me in the right direction on how to set this up. I already have a provider that I use, I just need to know how to integrate it with allstar.

After some trial and error I figured it out.

Changes to rpt.conf
I changed the access code for the autopatch. It is not available with the default code to reduce costs.

Code: Select all

6=autopatchup,noct=1,farenddisconnect=1,dialtime=20000    ; Autopatch up

Changes to extensions.conf under [check_route]

Code: Select all

Comment out the following line.
;exten=_1NXXXXXXXXX,1,Goto(pstn-out|${EXTEN:1}|1)
Add this line. This way you can always revert back.
exten=_1NXXXXXXXXX,1,Dial(SIP/${EXTEN}@peername)

Add outbound peer to sip.conf (provider gave it to me just like that)

Code: Select all

[peername]
type=friend
dtmfmode=auto
host=server address or ip address
username=provider username
fromuser=provider username
secret=provider password
trustrpid=yes
sendrpid=yes
allow=all
canreinvite=no

Hopefully this helps some. It took me a few hours to figure out the best config.
